DJ8 Terms and Conditions

This page explains your rights and duties when you access and use the Company's website. The game and promotion terms we post on the Site from time to time also form part of these Terms.

1. Definitions

1.1 "Terms and Conditions" (or "these Terms") means the rules for using the Services, the Website(s) and all Information on them.
1.2 "Games" means the online gaming system available on the Site. "Betting" or "bet(s)" includes, without limitation, any wagering, gaming or gambling on any of the Services on the Website(s).
1.3 "Device(s)" means any device you use to access the Website(s) and Services, including but not limited to computers, laptops, mobile phones, PDAs, PDA phones and other hand-held devices.
1.4 "Software" means any program, data file or other content (including related user information) that must be installed on your Device to use the Website(s) and Services.
1.5 "Sportsbook" means the sports betting system on the Website and all related services and online gaming activities.
1.6 "Services" means the Software and the Games together.

2. Acceptance

2.1 By accepting these Terms, you confirm you understand that gambling carries a risk of losing money, and that you are responsible for any losses. You use our Services entirely by your own choice and at your own risk. You cannot make any claim for your losses against DJ8, its partners, or their directors, officers or employees.

3. Acceptable Use

You may only use our Services for lawful purposes, and you must fully cooperate with any DJ8 investigation into the activities below.

You may not use our Services if:

3.1 You are involved in any illegal activity or transaction (for example money laundering, terrorist financing, identity theft or payment fraud) under the laws that apply to you;
3.2 You obtain winnings unlawfully;
3.3 You give false or misleading information about your identity, age or location, or refuse to provide information DJ8 asks for;
3.4 You use more than one active account at DJ8;
3.5 The person registered on the DJ8 account is not the same person who owns the linked bank account and/or credit/debit card(s);
3.6 You allow (on purpose or by accident) someone else to use your DJ8 account;
3.7 You coordinate bets with other customers on the same (or nearly the same) selections to reduce losses. DJ8 is for individual, personal entertainment only;
3.8 DJ8 receives a "chargeback" or "return" notice from your bank or a payment method used on your account;
3.9 You collude, cheat, or do anything that threatens the integrity of sport;
3.10 You commit any fraud, such as identity theft;
3.11 DJ8 determines that you used any system (including machines, computers, software, bots or other automated systems) designed to beat the gambling systems.

Note: We are committed to a fair and safe place to play. We do not tolerate illegal activity or cheating.

4. Registration and Membership

4.1 To meet our licence requirements, prevent underage gambling and prevent crime, we must verify the identity of every customer.
4.2 When you register, you must enter your personal details, such as name, address and date of birth. We use and protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
4.3 If the Company reasonably believes an account or password is being used or misused in any way:
- The Company may cancel access immediately without notice and block all users from that IP address.
- The Company may, at its sole discretion and without liability to you, reject any username you choose, or take back a username you already have and give it to someone else.
- You are fully responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must tell the Company immediately about any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.
- The Company is not liable for any loss caused by someone else using your password or account.

5. Placing Bets

5.1 We accept bets on games shown on the Website(s) and/or Device(s). All bets follow the Betting Rules for each event or game and these Terms.
- If there is an obvious error, or the wrong participant is listed for an event, all bets on that event are void.
- If the Company's gaming system malfunctions, the Company may void any or all bets.
5.2 Regardless of anything else in these Terms, the Company may refuse all or part of any bet at its sole discretion, without giving a reason.
5.3 We only accept bets placed online in line with these Terms. Bets sent any other way (post, email, fax, etc.) are not accepted and are void, whatever the result.
5.4 If the Company believes you have broken these Terms, or have cheated, hacked, attacked, manipulated or damaged the normal spirit of betting, it may suspend or close your account at any time. All winnings, payouts and account balance will be forfeited and treated as invalid.
5.5 Any "abnormal bets", including the use of artificial intelligence or "bots" online, will be voided without notice. Any member who tries to use, or uses, artificial intelligence will have their account terminated.
5.6 A bet is valid if your username and password were entered correctly and you have enough funds in your account. You are solely responsible for making sure your bet details are correct. Once we have accepted and confirmed your bet, it cannot be cancelled, withdrawn or changed.
5.7 You are responsible for all activity and transactions made using any of the following:
- Your name;
- Your account number;
- Your username and password.
A bet is treated as valid and accepted by the Company once a transaction ID appears on your screen and is shown in your transaction history.
5.8 You cannot bet after an event has started, or when the result is already known.
- If betting is mistakenly left open after an event starts or the result is known, the Company may refuse or void those bets.
- If a bet is accidentally accepted after an event or match has started, for any reason, the Company may cancel and void it.
- Acceptance of any bet is at the Company's sole discretion.
5.9 Unless stated otherwise, the result of a match or event for betting is decided on the day it ends. The winner is decided on that date according to the Betting Rules.
5.10 For betting purposes, the Company does not recognise suspended games, protests or overturned decisions.
5.11 All odds, lines and handicaps may change without notice, and are only fixed when we accept your bet. If an obvious error, mistake or system failure leads to a bet at the wrong odds, line or handicap, DJ8 may (but does not have to) make reasonable efforts to contact you and let you choose to place a new bet at the correct odds, line or handicap.
5.12 We do not accept multiple bets placed at the same time on one event. For any bet and its related transactions, the Company's decision is final.
5.13 For Sports, DJ8 only accepts bets with odds between 0.5 and 1.5 and between -1.5 and -0.5, and only on these leagues:
Premier League, La Liga, Serie A (Italy), Bundesliga, Ligue 1 (France), Russian Premier League, Primeira Liga (Portugal), Eredivisie, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, The Emirates FA Cup, UEFA EURO, UEFA Nations League, Copa America, FIFA World Cup, MLB, NFL and EFL Cup.

If a member bets on any league outside this list, DJ8 has the full right to deduct credit from winning tickets.

6. Settlement of Transactions

6.1 The Company may refuse to settle a transaction if the cardholder's name does not match the account name.
6.2 You must pay in full any money you owe to the Company or other players. You agree not to dispute or reverse any payment you have made, and to repay the Company for any chargebacks, denials or reversals, plus any other losses and costs this causes. The Company may, at its sole discretion, stop providing services or payments to certain users, or to users paying with certain credit or debit cards.
6.3 The maximum amount one customer can win in one day of betting is x100 multiple of deposit, or the equivalent in an accepted currency.
6.4 Your winnings do not include your stake, so keep this in mind when you bet. When you combine selections from different categories in a multiple or accumulator bet, the lowest maximum winnings limit applies.
6.5 All winnings are credited to your account. The Company is not responsible for any funds or winnings credited to your account by mistake, and may void any transactions involving those funds. If funds are credited to your account by mistake, you must tell the Company immediately.

7. Withdrawing Winnings

7.1 Winnings from settled bets are credited to your account. You can withdraw them in line with these Terms, after providing a copy of valid photo ID and/or your credit/debit card.
7.2 We will not release your funds under any circumstances unless your full deposit has been played through.
7.3 You can only withdraw in the same currency you deposited in.
7.4 If your card issuer allows, winnings may be paid back to the credit or debit card you used to deposit. The card must be in the same name as the registered account holder.
7.5 The Company may charge your account for all reasonable costs of deposits and withdrawals.
7.6 You must cover all bank charges related to your betting transactions. The Company may deduct these from your winnings or your account.

8. Promotions

8.1 From time to time we may offer bonuses, promotions and/or competitions, each with its own terms. Any bonus or special gift credited to your account must be used according to those terms.
8.2 If these Terms conflict with the terms of a specific promotion or competition, the promotion or competition terms apply.
8.3 If you accept a promotion with a wagering requirement, you must meet that requirement before you can withdraw your bonus balance.
8.4 Unless a promotion's terms say otherwise, if you get a bonus without making a deposit, DJ8 may limit how much you can withdraw from it (both the bonus and any winnings from it). This limit applies to all Free Bonuses, Free Bets and Free Casino Spins given without a deposit.
8.5 DJ8 may withdraw any promotion at any time, subject to the promotion having a specific eligibility period.
8.6 All DJ8 offers are for recreational customers only. DJ8 may, at its sole discretion, limit any customer's eligibility for any promotion, and may withdraw any or all offers from any customer.
8.7 If any promotion term is broken, or there is evidence that a customer or group of customers placed a series of bets using a deposit bonus, enhanced payout, free bet, risk-free bet or any other offer to guarantee a profit whatever the outcome (individually or as a group), we may:
- Take back the bonus part of the offer; and
- At our absolute discretion, settle bets at the correct odds, void free bets and risk-free bets, or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus.
8.8 We may also charge an administration fee up to the value of the deposit bonus, free bet, risk-free bet or extra payout to cover our costs. Before crediting any bonus, free bet, risk-free bet or other offer, we may ask you for documents that prove your identity to our satisfaction.
8.9 All offers are limited to one per person, family, household address, email address, phone number, payment account number and shared computer (for example a public library or workplace). We may withdraw any or all offers from any customer or group of customers at any time, at our sole discretion. Offers only apply to customers who have made a real-money deposit.
8.10 Each player may only have one registered account on the Company website. If you want more than one account, you must first contact our live chat team and request it. If we find a player has opened multiple accounts without doing this, it will be treated as a violation and misuse. The Company has the final right to take any action needed to protect its interests, including closing the accounts and permanently freezing the credit.
8.11 No DJ8 promotion may be used with multiple accounts. If there is any collusion or use of multiple accounts, all bonuses and winnings will be confiscated.
8.12 Unless SPECIFICALLY stated, turnover on non-live table games (for example Blackjack, Video Poker, Craps, American Roulette, Baccarat and other non-live table games) and non-slot games does not count towards the turnover requirement.
8.13 DJ8 only counts bets that have been settled with a win or loss result as valid turnover.
8.14 Turnover required for any bonus does not count as valid turnover for rebates.
8.15 Unless a bonus's terms say otherwise, bonuses are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued. If you do not complete the required wagering before they expire, the bonus funds and any money won with them will be removed from your account.
8.16 DJ8 may decide on its own to run the promotion, and may modify, change, stop, cancel and/or invalidate it at any time without notice.
8.17 All promotions and special offers are subject to these Terms. The Company may suspend, withdraw or change any promotion at any time.
8.18 If the Company believes a user is abusing or trying to abuse a promotion, it may, at its sole discretion, block, deny, suspend, withhold or remove that user from the promotion.
8.19 The Company may void any or all bets made by any person or group acting together in collusion, or attempting fraud. Money in those accounts will be confiscated immediately. Referrers, referred players and bonus applicants must not share the same IP address or household.
8.20 For players who claim the welcome bonus, the maximum withdrawal is 50x the deposit amount.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All information, material and data on the Website(s), in the Services or in any other form, including without limitation marketing programmes and materials, results, statistics, sports data, fixture lists, odds and betting figures, text, graphics, video and audio (the "Information"), belong to the Company and its licensors. They are for your personal, non-commercial use only.
9.2 Without our prior consent, you may not adapt, copy, modify, reproduce, store, distribute, display, publish, transmit, sell, rent, lease or license the Information, or make it available to any other person, website or media.
9.3 The Software, Services and Information on the Website(s) are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. All rights, title and interest in them are owned by, licensed to and/or controlled by the Company and/or its licensors. Using the Website(s) does not give you any rights, interests or licences to them.
9.4 You agree that the Software made available to you belongs to the Company and that you gain no rights in it. You may not adapt, copy, modify, reproduce, store, distribute, display, publicly perform, broadcast, publish, transmit, sell, rent, lease or license the Software, or make it available to any other person, website, media or device.
9.5 The Company gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Software on your Device(s) (the "Licence"), PROVIDED THAT you are the main user of that Device.
9.6 The Company licenses and distributes the Software only so users can fully access and use the Services. You may not:
- Install or load the Software on a server or other networked device;
- Copy, distribute, transfer or assign the Software to anyone else;
- Rent, lease, sub-license or transfer the Software to any third party;
- Create or provide any way for others to use the Software;
- Translate, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works from the Software; or
- Use the Software in any way prohibited by law or regulation.

10. Indemnity

10.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its employees, officers, directors, licensees, distributors, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents against any loss, damage or claim (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms and/or the Betting Rules.

11. Disclaimer

11.1 The Company is not liable for the content, products or statements of external or third-party websites in the public domain. The Company gives no warranties or representations and accepts no responsibility for any part of the Services, the Site or the Information provided by third parties, and is not liable for any default, breach or failure to act by third-party partners.
11.2 You take part in the Games entirely by your own choice and at your own risk. By playing, you confirm you do not find the Games and/or Services offensive, unfair or indecent in any way.
11.3 Some jurisdictions have not ruled on whether online and/or offshore gambling is legal, while others have made it illegal. We do not intend anyone to use the Site and/or Services where this is illegal. The availability of the Services and Site is not an offer, solicitation or invitation in any country where such use is illegal. It is always your sole responsibility to obey the laws that apply to you and to make sure you have the full legal right to use the Site and Services.
11.4 Under no circumstances, including negligence, is the Company liable for any damage or loss said to be caused by the Site or its content. This includes without limitation delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, communication or line failures, anyone's use or misuse of the Site or its content, and any errors or omissions in the content. To the full extent allowed by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, representations and responsibilities, and does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, or that emails sent through its servers are free of viruses or bugs.
11.5 The Company never guarantees that the Services will meet your expectations or standards. It is your responsibility to make sure your setup is suitable for using the Services. You accept that some or all Information may be provisional and may be revised or changed.
11.6 If the result on your Device differs from the result on our server, the server result applies. You agree (without affecting your other rights and remedies) that the Company's records are the final authority on the terms of your play, the activity that results and the circumstances in which it happened.
11.7 The Company may, at its absolute discretion and with immediate effect, stop, change, remove or add to the Services, temporarily or permanently, and is not liable for any resulting loss.
11.8 This disclaimer replaces all earlier understandings, agreements and contracts. You agree to indemnify the Company and its affiliates, employees, agents and associates against all claims, liabilities and costs, including but not limited to lawyers' fees and court charges, arising from your access to or use of the Services and Site, whether or not the Company was told this could happen. By using the Services and Site, you expressly waive any rights you may have against us.
11.9 This disclaimer must be read in full, together with the terms of use and Privacy Policy. By using this site, you are treated as having read, understood and accepted all the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and this disclaimer.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

If we suspect a customer has broken these Terms or done anything listed in Section 3, DJ8 may suspend the account without notice until the matter is fully investigated. You agree to fully cooperate with any such DJ8 investigation.

12.1 If our investigation finds you broke these Terms or did anything listed in Section 3, we may restrict or close your account. In that case, we will hold back your account balance up to the amount of any loss or fees DJ8 has incurred.
12.2 If you have taken part in illegal activity:
- DJ8 does not have to refund any money in your account;
- DJ8 will report your identity and any suspected unlawful, fraudulent or improper activity to the relevant authorities, regulators, sports governing bodies, other online service providers, banks, credit card companies, e-payment providers or other financial institutions;
- You will not be allowed to open any account with us in future.
12.3 We will try to verify you automatically from the information you submit. If we cannot, you must send valid documents proving your identity, age and address. Accepted documents include, but are not limited to:
- A copy of valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence; and
- A copy of a recent utility bill showing your address, such as an electricity or phone bill (important: no older than 3 months); and
- A copy of a recent credit card / debit card / bank statement (note: it must relate to a payment method you used and be no older than 3 months).
If the documents are not enough to verify you, you must keep providing more information until we can. If we cannot complete verification, we may close your account.

To bet with the Company, you must complete the account opening and membership application. We may reject your application without telling you or giving any reason.

You confirm that all information you give when registering and applying is accurate, true and complete, including your name, source of funds (including relevant bank accounts and card numbers) and home address.

We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal information confidential. We will not report or disclose your personal data or betting information unless the law requires us to.

It is your responsibility to keep your personal information confidential. We may share your personal data with our payment service providers and financial institutions as needed to complete payments.

It is your responsibility to make sure the laws that apply to you do not stop you from using the Website(s) and/or Services.

We require further proof of identity and age to verify your application (for example valid photo ID and a debit/credit card). If any of your details change, you must tell us immediately.

We may confirm your name and address by post. The Company may, at its discretion, carry out extra security checks on any information you give. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to the Company accessing, using and storing any identity verification or checks made on you.

13. Games and Interruptions in Play

13.1 No warranty

Subject to your statutory rights (see clause 14 below), the Services and Software are provided "as is". We do not promise they will always be available without interruption or fully working. Access may be suspended temporarily without notice because of system failure, maintenance, repair or reasons reasonably beyond our control.

13.2 Malfunctions

We are not liable for computer malfunctions, telecom or internet connection failures, or your attempts to play in ways we did not intend.

If a Game, Service or related system malfunctions or has any other error, all bets placed during that time are void and refunded.
Any funds from a malfunctioning Game or Service are void, along with any later game rounds or Services played with those funds, whatever the Game or Service.
If a malfunction or error causes too much money to be credited to your account, you must tell DJ8 promptly. Once DJ8 becomes aware of any wrong credit or payment, it may adjust your account to recover those funds.
If there is a system malfunction, all unconfirmed bets are void. We are not liable for any loss caused by such suspension or delay.

Note: We work hard to bring you top-quality services and games. If anything breaks, we will fix it as quickly as possible and do our best to make sure you are not negatively affected.

13.3 Final decision

If the result on your software differs from the result on the DJ8 server software, the DJ8 server result is the official and final result.

13.4 Latency

In peer-to-peer games against other customers, you may be at a disadvantage because of technical issues such as slower network speeds or slower devices.

Live TV and other broadcasts provided as part of any DJ8 offering may be delayed, so others may have more up-to-date information about those broadcasts.

13.5 Reported faults

We take all reasonable steps to keep the Services fault-free, but cannot guarantee they will never be faulty. We will investigate and, where possible, fix reported faults as soon as reasonably possible. If a fault occurs, please report it by email or in writing to our Customer Service centre.

Note: If you see anything wrong with the Website or Apps, please contact our 24/7 Customer Support.

13.6 Service suspension

We may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for any reason at our sole discretion. We may (but do not have to) give you as much notice as reasonably practical, and will restore the Service as soon as reasonably practical afterwards.

13.7 Change

DJ8 may suspend, change, remove or add to the Website content (other than these Terms) or its Software at its sole discretion, with immediate effect and without notice. Subject to your statutory rights (see clause 13.2 above), we are not liable for any loss caused by any change, or by any modification, suspension or ending of the Software or Services.

14. Cancellation, Termination and Suspension of Account

The Company may void any winnings, freeze and forfeit any balance in your account, and/or deactivate your account without cause at any time, including without limitation if:

You have more than one active account with the Company;
Your account name does not match the name on the credit/debit card(s) or other payment accounts used for purchases and deposits;
You join a promotion and withdraw before meeting its requirements;
You give incorrect or misleading registration information;
You fail to provide requested identification;
You are not of legal age;
You access and use the Services from a jurisdiction where this is prohibited by law;
You deny any transactions or deposits you have made;
You deposit money that comes from illegal or unauthorised activities;
You are found cheating or trying to cheat anyone, using artificial intelligence or any other system designed to beat the system, or colluding with other players to defraud the Company;
You allow (on purpose or by accident) someone else to use your account; or
You fail to follow any terms of this Agreement.

14.1 If the Services are suspended and/or your account is deactivated, they will only be restored after the necessary correction has been verified.
14.2 The Company has full authority over opening, maintaining and closing user accounts at any time for any reason. Its decision on any matter concerning your account or your use of the Services or Site is final and cannot be reviewed or appealed. We will give you reasonable notice before acting, unless it is legally or practically impossible.

15. External Websites

15.1 Links to external websites are for your convenience only. The Company is not responsible for, and does not guarantee, that their content is accurate, current or maintained.
15.2 The Company is not responsible or liable for the content or privacy practices of external websites.
15.3 The Company is not liable for any loss or damage arising from or connected with your use of any external link on the Website(s).
15.4 The Company is never associated or affiliated with any statement, opinion, trade or service mark, logo, insignia, product or service of external websites, or with their operators or owners.

16. Adding or Discontinuing Games

16.1 We may, at our sole discretion and at any time, add new games or features to the Website(s), or start, stop, discontinue, restrict access to or change any game or feature.

17. Violation

17.1 The Company may use all remedies for any breach of these Terms, including denying or restricting anyone's access to the Services, Website(s) and Information, closing your account, or blocking access from a particular IP address, at any time and at its sole and absolute discretion.
17.2 You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, employees, agents and associates against all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including legal fees and any other charges) arising from:
- Your breach of this Agreement, in whole or in part;
- Breach of any law or third-party rights;
- Use of the Services and/or Site by you or anyone else using your login details.

18. Miscellaneous

18.1 If any translated version of this Agreement differs from the English version, the English version applies.
18.2 This Agreement is the entire agreement between the Company and you about the Services and Site, and replaces any earlier agreement, understanding or arrangement.

19. Website Use

The following rules govern your access to and participation in any "play for real" services provided by the Company (also called "we", "our" or "us"). Read them together with the Betting Rules, the Privacy Policy and any other terms that apply to using the Website.

19.1 Use of Site

You may only play the Games for money if you:

Are 18 years of age or over; and
Have reached the legal age to play the Games in the country you are accessing our site from.

If you are not eligible, the Company may:

Immediately stop you from playing and close your account;
Report you to the relevant authorities.

When you register, by ticking the box "I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age and I have read and accepted The Company Terms and Conditions" and clicking "SAVE AND CONTINUE", you confirm that:

You have read, fully understood and accepted these Terms; and
These Terms are a legally binding agreement ("Agreement") between you and the Company about your use of the Services.

19.2 Changes to these Terms

We may change, update and modify these Terms at our sole discretion without prior notice. Changes take effect once published on the Website(s). If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Terms.

It is your responsibility to check for any changes. The Company has no duty to notify you of them.

19.3 Conditions of Use

As a condition of using the Services, you promise not to use the Website(s), Services, Software and/or Information for any purpose that is illegal under any law that applies to you, or that is prohibited by or breaks these Terms. In particular (in addition to everything else in these Terms), you promise that:

You are acting for yourself, in your personal capacity, and not for anyone else;
Your legal capacity is not restricted;
You have not been diagnosed or classified as a compulsive gambler;
You are of the legal age of 18 or above;
You fully understand the risk of losing money when using the Services;
The money you use or deposit does not come from illegal or unauthorised activities;
You are not involved in criminal, illegal or unauthorised activities, and do not intend to use your account with us for them;
You will not let anyone use your account for any criminal or illegal activity, including without limitation money laundering, under any law that applies to you or us;
You will keep your username, account number and password safe, confidential and protected, and tell us immediately if you lose or forget your account name or password;
You are solely responsible for all activity using your username, account number and password on the Website(s) and/or Device(s), whether or not you authorised or knew about it;
You will not use the Website(s), Device(s), Software or Information in any way that disrupts the Services or the Website(s) for other users;
You will not try to obtain any information about other users;
You will not upload or distribute any program, file or data containing viruses that may affect the Device(s), Software, Services and/or Website(s);
Your access to and use of the Services and Website(s) is not illegal or prohibited by any law or contract that applies to you where you are;
You will not post or send to the Website(s), Device(s) or other users any unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, racially or ethnically offensive, pornographic or profane material, or anything that could be a criminal offence;
You are not an officer, director, employee, affiliate or agent of the Company or any related company, nor a relative or housemate of any of them.
